How this works

In plain terms.

You set a boundary

Open, Pause or Stop, for each kind of credit, whenever you’re thinking clearly.

A lender checks before approving

They send us the details from the application form. We look for you. They get one word back — pass, delay or block — and a number of days if it’s a delay. They do not get your name back, your record, or any reason.

Tightening is instant, loosening waits

Making a setting stronger happens the moment you save it. Making it weaker takes 14 days. That asymmetry is deliberate: it means a difficult evening cannot undo the decision you made on a calm one.

We’d rather miss you than stop the wrong person

If two records could be the applicant, we refuse to choose and the lender is told nothing. Blocking someone who never asked to be blocked would do real harm, so uncertainty always resolves in favour of letting the application through.

We never ask why

There is no field for it, on your side or the lender’s.
